Tips for The Friday Backpack Program
You may have noticed that 100% of our tips go to the Friday Backpack Program. This is a local charity for children right here in Rolla. For a lot of children in our community, the only meal they eat throughout the week is their school lunch. Through Hope Alliance of Missouri, and the help of Rolla residents, nondescript backpacks are filled with snacks and easy to prepare meals, and given to students at the end of the day on Friday. This allows them to eat over the weekend, and as a result, they are able to focus on their academics Monday morning.
